Hector Baeza

Director of Federal Programs

Hector Baeza’s public education experience spans over twenty years. He has been a first, fourth and fifth grade teacher. He has also served as an English Language Learner Instructional Resource Supervisor and Renaissance Coordinator. He has been a principal at both the elementary and middle school level. He recently served as the Assistant Director of the 21st Century Community Learning Center/Community Education program with the Gadsden City School System. He was presented with the Chris Dendy Outstanding Service Award for promoting ADHD awareness in Alabama schools in 2014. Mr. Baeza served as president of District V Alabama Association of Elementary School administrators in 2011. That year he was also elected to the Board of Directors of the Environmental Education Association of Alabama. Mr. Baeza is a founding member of the Arts Leadership Team for the state of Alabama. He has also been a small business owner, running a successful business for nineteen years.
