Dr. David AsburyDavid Asbury

Director of Technology and Human Resources
In addition to Technology and Human Resources, Dr. Asbury serves as the Director of Career-Technical Education for the district. He graduated from Gadsden High School. His B.S. is from Berry College, M.Ed. from Auburn University, and Ed.D. from the University of Alabama.  Dr. Asbury has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of Alabama, Gadsden Center, teaching graduate courses in technology integration.  Dr. Asbury has been with the Gadsden City Schools for over 35 years as a Secondary Mathematics and Computer Science Teacher, School Administrator, Director of the Magnet School programs, and in his current position.
